GRANTS FOR LA FIRES
If you are a musician or a music program based in the LA-area affected by the fires, please read below and click on APPLY NOW at the bottom. Requests will be accepted now through Feb. 28, 2025.
The Guitar Center Music Foundation and Guitar Center are supporting those affected by the fires in Los Angeles with a special one-time grant replacing instruments and gear destroyed by the fires. We do not offer cash – the grant will only replace instruments and/or gear. Proof of loss or address may be required.

APPLY FOR DISASTER RELIEF
STEP 1
MAKE SURE YOU AND/OR YOUR
PROGRAM QUALIFIES
Only LA-based musicians and music instruction programs may apply. Programs that are part of 501c3 nonprofit organizations or public schools are eligible.
A qualified music program must fit into one of these four categories:
- In-school music classes in which the students make music
- After-school music programs that are not run by the school
- Community music programs which offer music instruction to the community
- Music therapy programs in which the participants actively make music
STEP 2
CREATE A PROFILE & APPLY
We will run all grant applications through our grants management platform, Wizehive.
Create your profile by clicking on the “APPLY NOW” button. You will complete and submit your application through the portal. If you need to come back to your profile, click on “SIGN IN.”
STEP 3
AWAIT A RESPONSE
Over the next month, we will be processing your requests for up to $1,500 in replacement instruments and gear. We appreciate your patience as we work to help you and the many others who have lost instruments due to this disaster.
